In the afternoon of August 2rd, the Tire Mold Department held the first and second quarters in 2017 of the "Innovation Hero Medal" awards ceremony in company's vegetarian restaurant. The executives, middle-level cadres, some technical backbone and staff who had been awarded the "Innovation Hero Medal" of nearly 100 people attended the ceremony. It was chaired by the chief engineer of the Tire Mold Department, Zeng Xuzhao. The theme was to summarize the reform and innovation of the Tire Mold Department in the first half of the year and to reward the achievements gained by the innovation activities.

At the beginning of this year, with the support and impetus of the company's leadership, the department made some adjustments and upgraded the rationalization proposals so that the department became larger and more standardized. What’s more, the bonus incentive was also added the title "Innovation Hero", which not only increased honor but also motivated the innovation among the staff.

On the ceremony, the chief engineer Zeng Xuzhao concluded the results of technological innovation in the first and second quarters of 2017. In the first quarter, there were 98 reform and innovation projects that met the assessment requirements. After the review by the panel, the assessment team selected 1 project for the first prize, 3 for the second prize, 31 for the third prize and 61 for the encouragement prize. In the second quarter, there were 150 reform and innovation projects that met the assessment requirements. The assessment team selected 3 projects for the first prize, 12 for the second prize, 52 for the third prize and 64 for the encouragement prize. Looking back the reform and innovation activities in the first half of the year of the Tire Mold Department, the number and the overall quality have been greatly increased, comparing with the past. In particular, the technical improvement of precision casting, the optimization of processing technology, the improvement of processing efficiency, the technical difficulties of overcoming the nitridation deformation of thin-walled parts, the development of new products and many other problems have been greatly improved. Now these technological innovation projects are carried out in an orderly manner, which also have achieved initial success. A gradual rise of a technology-based reform and innovation boom is taking place in the department. Finally, Zeng pointed out the shortcomings of the department and also arranged the technical innovation work of the second half of the year.

The general Manager Hong Zebin expressed his congratulations and gratitude to those who won the "Innovative Hero Medal". He encouraged everyone to keep the spirit of pioneering and be daring to innovate and promote the development of the department. He also stressed the development thoughts and the core business management philosophy, that is, "adhere to the upgrading, to make fine mold, to walk the global high-end customer road". He called on to stick on the goal, the faith, the intention and he three strategic themes "technology leadership, efficiency-driven, lean-oriented" to carry out the technical innovation.

Under the leadership of the company and the effort of all staff, the Tire Mold Department, one of the main pillars of the company, gradually worked out a suitable road for the development of Greatoo. Science and technology are changing rapidly. The road is doomed to rough. So we need to bang, reform and innovate. We should not be complacent when we have some success but strive for greater success of reform and innovation in the future.
