On the afternoon of January 18, Fei Feng, the vice-minister of China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and other officers, accopanied by Dong Chen, the deputy secretary of  Jieyang municipal Party committee and the mayor of Jieyang, inspected Greatoo and received warm welcome from the company’s leaders like Chaozhong Wu, the chairman of the board. The hosts and the guests visited the intelligent workshops, giant molds workshops, curing press workshops and robot workshops. During the visit, Vice-minister Feng and Chairman Wu had a heated discussion about the company.

Chairman Wu introduced that as the national model enterprise of technology innovation and the key national new high-tech enterprise, Greatoo has realized intelligent manufacturing, digital management, establishing a brand for products and international market. With business contracts with ten tire tycoons in the world, our company sells its products in many countries and regions like America, Southeast Asia and Europe and has become the main supplier for domestic and overseas high-end customers. Now the company has four main types of industries, including tire molds, hydraulic curing presses, precision machine tools and industrial robots; the company has already set up incubating technology research institutes in areas like Beijing and Guangzhou; the company also established subsidiary corporations in India, Europe and America, showing its international charm in the international competitions.

In the robot workshops, the guests visited intelligent equipment, such as the lion dance performed by robots, flexible production lines, automatic stereoscopic warehouses, 3C automatic machining units and cooperative carrying things by many robots. When the guests watched the RV reducers, the core component of robots, Chairman Wu introduced in detail that after years of investment and researches, the company successfully invented a new type of RV reducer which can reduce consumption caused by friction and lower the calorific value so as to increase the output efficiency, decrease the whole costs, improve stability and prolong the products’ service life. With the innovation in the structure and space design, this type of reducers not only can increase stability and lower the whole costs, but also makes it more convenient to achieve a higher transmission ratio and features characteristics like strong torque rigidity, low vibration, strong shock resistance, high efficiency of transmission to better meet the transmission needs of industrial robots, especially 6-DOF robots.

At the end of the visit, Vice-minister Feng thought highly of Greatoo’s leading technology compared to its peers. At the same time, he encouraged Greatoo to make persistent efforts and achieve greater success in intelligent equipment technology.
