Recently, Greatoo announced that on October 9, 2015, the third extraordinary general meeting deliberated that the company has changed its name from “Greatoo Co.,Ltd” to “Greatoo Intelligent Equipment Group Co.,Ltd”. The abbreviation of the company’s securities has changed from “Greatoo” to “Greatoo Intelligent Equipment”. Greatoo expressed that the company changes its name to respond to the national policy, implement the innovation-drive strategy, accelerate the transformation and upgrading of intelligent manufacturing industries and further explore the equipment area of industry 4.0, developing the complete set of equipment of industrial robots in order to strengthen the company’s comprehensive competitive power and realize the company’s industrial plans in the future. Therefore, the company changes the company’s name and the abbreviation of its securities.

The company changes its name to show that Greatoo will strengthen its core business and maintain the leading position in the market. At the same time, the company will create new molds of intelligent manufacturing and further explore the area of intelligent manufacturing. In recent years, by cultivating talents and purchasing German technology, Greatoo independently invented 6-degree light and heavy industrial robots, RV reducers, the core component of robots, the unite control system of robots and stereoscopic warehouse system with proprietary intellectual property rights. Also, the company has created a series of intelligent solutions for different industries with different needs and established the first tire mold intelligent factory in China and carried out the research and implementation of intelligent solutions. Also, the company produced the first automatic tire production line for Hangzhou Zhongce. In addition, the company has done researches about mechanical and 3C industries and successfully invented the intelligent and automatic milling processing unites and put them into use in scale.

In May, the State Council issued “Made in China 2025”, Chinese plan of industry 4.0, which stood for the prelude of the transformation and upgrading of Chinese manufacturing industries in 10 years. Guangdong also issued “Guangdong’s Three-year Plan of the Transformation and Upgrading of Industries (2015-2017)”. Under the background of the intelligent transformation of traditional industries and the changes of production way, Greatoo has become a national model enterprise integrating informatization and industrialization and been chosen as one of the hundred innovation model enterprises integrating Internet and industrialization by Ministry of Industry and Information from the mechanization, automation, informatization, digitization and intelligence of industries and the integration of informatization and industrialization.

Since the development of robotic industry, Greatoo continued to establish the research platform and industrial platform of industrial robots. It was authorized to establish “Equipment Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering Laboratory” where the company carries out the researches of intelligent equipment and technology application.  Greatoo has cooperated with Israel SAS company for a long time in the self-researches, manufacturing and sales of control system and motion controller. SAS also provides upgrading, training and support service for the authorized technology. Greatoo has clearer idea of the layout of intelligent manufacturing industries and faster pace to develop intelligent manufacturing industries .

In the 2nd International Robotics and Intelligent Equipment Industry Conference and Exhibition held by International Robotics and Intelligent Equipment Industries Alliance in September which just ended, Greatoo, as representative intelligent manufacturing enterprise and the vice-chairman of International Robotics and Intelligent Industries Alliance,showed various types of industrial robots and complete sets of intelligent equipment and was highly praised. Also, in the 12th China International Small and Medium Enterprises Fair and Intelligent Manufacturing and Equipment Exhibition held a few days ago,  Greatoo showed anti-collision beam automatic stamping simulation, automatic spraying of articulated arms, robotic eletrowelding, CMM automatic detection and the robotic sword dance in the exhibition where there were also many domestic and foreign intelligent manufacturing enterprises.

This July, the State Council issued “The Instructions about Promoting “Internet +”. The coordination between “Internet +” and manufacturing is the important content of this document in order to integrate the use of internet and manufacturing industries, increase the level of digitization, networking and intelligence of manufacturing, strengthen the cooperation of industrial chains and develop a new collaborative manufacturing mold based on the Internet. In September, Guangdong government also issued “ Internet + Plan (2015-2020)” highlighting the point of “Internet + Advanced Manufacturing” in order to establish 100 intelligent manufacturing model factories at the end of 2020, 200 intelligent manufacturing model workshops, 300 Internet pilot enterprises and further make use of industrial internet. In July, Greatoo joint stocks in Beijing Golaxy which is based on the operation of big data service. Beijing Golaxy is one of ‘s incubating enterprises of Chinese Academy of Sciences which wants to accelerate the transformation of technical achievements and promote the establishment of high-tech enterprises. The data science and engineering research center of CAS has committed itself to the theoretical researches and system researches of Internet information mining, big data and cloud computing. It’s expected that in the future, Greatoo will give full play to the effects of intelligent manufacturing and big data and effectively contribute to the development strategy of “Made in China 2025” and “Internet +”.
